Andrew Silverman

 

Background:

Over twenty-five years Andrew has worked at a senior level in both the Government and the private sectors. His career includes communication policy roles within the UK government in the Foreign and Commonwealth Office, Ministry of Defence, Department of Transport and the Home Office. He was Private Secretary to Peter Mandelson, the Minister without Portfolio, between 1997 and 1998 then worked as a member of the Strategic Communication Unit at No 10 Downing Street. Following this he undertook senior political consultancy roles with Brunswick Group LLP, Kreab Gavin Anderson and Lansons, together with public policy leadership roles at the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, Betfair.com, Neyber and the National Citizens Service Trust.

He is currently working with clients across London and in the home counties.

Career highlight:

Working with the award-winning charity My Life My Say to create a Social Inclusion Unit focused on driving greater equality across business and civil society.

Interests:

Great interest in modern history and contemporary politics. Sports wise I enjoy cycling and football, spending many weekends watching Crystal Palace in London or at away matches around the country.
