Mark Walker

Before joining Cascade in 2018 Mark spent over a decade working for the Labour Party. He ran campaigns across London in both local and national government elections, before becoming a key figure in Tom Watson’s Deputy Leadership Campaign and working on Sadiq Khan’s Mayoral Campaign.

At the 2018 local elections Mark stood as a Labour candidate in South Woodford, in the London Borough of Redbridge. He has spent time campaigning in Scotland and also worked for the Democrats ‘Battleground Texas’ project.

Career highlight:

Securing the biggest swing to Labour at the 2015 General Election in Hornsey and Wood Green constituency. Another proud achievement was winning the London Borough of Enfield at the 2014 local elections with a majority female Labour Group. Getting to work in America was also a highlight.

My two sons take up most of my time, but away from being a parent I enjoy reading and the cinema. My biggest passions are arguably West Ham, Morrissey and the Green Bay Packers.
