Simon Petar

 

Background:

Simon has over 17 years' experience in public affairs, corporate communications and stakeholder engagement. He has advised some of the largest names in business from Nestle, to Tesco and Anheuser-Busch. He joined Cascade Communications from another agency where he led local public affairs and development engagement. Simon provided counsel to clients wishing to engage with senior political and policy stakeholders over legislative threats and opportunities to their business, as well strategic advice to clients on local housing and infrastructure developments.

Career highlight:

My first job in 2001. I was fortunate enough to be given the opportunity to work in the press office for the Office of the Chief Rabbi upon graduating. The valuable lessons I learnt then I still employ today.

Interests:

Simon is a Trustee of the University of Hertfordshire Student's Union and the Alan Senitt Memorial Trust. Simon is also a former member of the Great Britain Gymnastic Squad, though his backflipping days are sadly long gone. He now spends his weekends driving his 3 children to their various sporting events.
