Client EXECUTIVE
An entry point into strategic communications focused on the built environment, working with a team that values initiative, sound judgement and the ability to get things done.
ABOUT THE ROLE
This is an exciting opportunity to join a specialist property communications consultancy delivering strategic advice and results for clients across property, development, planning and construction.
ABOUT CASCADE
We work with the people shaping the built environment across the UK, from major new developments and city centres to heritage projects and regeneration schemes. Our clients span the private and public sectors, including developers, local authorities and partners delivering complex projects that have a real impact on places and communities.
Our work covers the full range of communications, including strategic and corporate communications, media relations, stakeholder engagement, public consultation and political campaigns. This role offers the chance to gain experience across all of these areas.
Our values of entrepreneurship, teamwork, adding value and genuinely caring about our clients shape how we work every day. We are an established and growing consultancy with an excellent client base and a strong reputation in the sector.
What we are looking for
We are looking for a Client Executive who is confident speaking to anyone, able to build rapport quickly and understands how to listen as well as communicate. You will be a clear and thoughtful writer, able to see problems from different angles and come up with practical solutions.
This role is about attitude and potential rather than prior experience. You may be a recent graduate or have some early experience, but what matters most is curiosity, drive and a genuine interest in people and places. We are looking for someone who wants to learn, take responsibility and build a career in communications.
What you will be doing
From the outset, you will have early exposure to clients, supporting and then leading on day-to-day relationships and projects across strategic communications, media, stakeholder engagement, consultation and political campaigns.
Strong project management and time management skills are essential. You will be trusted to keep work moving, prioritise effectively and deliver to a high standard.
You should be comfortable working independently while contributing to a small, collaborative team where everyone is expected to take ownership and get involved.
How you will develop
We will provide training and support, but we expect you to be proactive, ask questions and look for opportunities to improve how we work.
An interest in how communications is evolving, particularly through social media, digital channels and AI tools, is important.
