We are looking to recruit an intern who will support all aspects of our client and project work. If you are a confident self-starter who is keen to gain experience in a commercial agency environment, this would be a fantastic first step to developing a career in public affairs and political communications.

About the role

As an intern at Cascade, you will gain experience across our business and assist our team with a variety of workstreams, including: supporting the delivery of project work for clients, assisting with community consultation events, preparing for client meetings, carrying out research, media monitoring, general administrative tasks and much more. You will gain hands-on experience of every aspect of our business and we will ensure that your time with us is well-spent.

This internship is ideal for someone studying at university or a recent graduate looking for some experience within the political sphere and particularly for those with an interest in local government. We are looking for a person who can use their initiative, share ideas freely, work well in a team and work methodically.

About you

• Either a degree, relevant college qualification or suitable work experience.
• A demonstrable interest in politics and local government.
• Good writing and computer skills.
• An interest in the property, built environmental and development industries.
• Highly motivated and eager to learn.
