To support the planning application for Pocket Living’s first ever Build to Rent scheme in the Old Oak and Park Royal area (OPDC), Ealing. It was unanimously consented at the end of 2022.

Our role

To carry out community engagement with local stakeholders and neighbours in support of the planning application. The proposed development will provide 436 Build to Rent (BtR) homes with ground floor commercial uses of 702 sqm GIA. The proposals consist of three buildings, connected at ground floor level via a podium – and includes improvements to the canalside.


Extensive engagement across two rounds of consultation.

  • 9,400 newsletters issued to local households and businesses inviting them to participate in the consultation activities.
  • Over 26,000 people reached via social media adverts on Facebook and Instagram.
  • Meetings were held with local stakeholders including community groups.
  • 60 people registered for the public consultation across the 4 webinars and 2 in person events, with over 50 people attending.
